The Bernese Mountain Dog Club of Watchung (BMDCW) welcomes anyone who owns a Bernese Mountain Dog or is interested in learning more about this wonderful breed. Our members participate in rescue, conformation, obedience, draft, agility, herding, rally, and therapy dog work. We also organize and participate in recreational activities such as club fun days, group walks, and local parades. Many of our members are preservation breeders working to protect the health and temperament of our breed and are happy to share their knowledge.
Founded in 1981, BMDCW serves the New Jersey and Eastern Pennsylvania region as the recognized regional club of the Bernese Mountain Dog Club of America and is licensed by the American Kennel Club (AKC) to host conformation, obedience, rally, and draft trials.
